Oh my goodness! How cold has it been today? I set off about 9am with Daisy, minus my waterproof trousers, silly me. It was snowing to start with which after a while turned to rain. Gusts of bitter cold wind and driving rain soaked and burnt my thighs. However we had a lovely walk through Dargets Woods which Daisy really enjoyed. The wind and rain always put a spring in her step. By the time we got home my thighs were bright red, burning and hot to touch. I put some body lotion on them which soothed them a little but couldn't bear any fabric against my skin. Lesson learnt. Wear waterproofs next time. My hair kept nice though. I recently invested in a windproof umbrella. It is worth every penny and does exactly what it says on the packaging. I'd highly recommend one to anyone that is a bit of a thing about their hair looking good at all times.
Kev had a lovely morning yesterday with our clients. We are very lucky that we walk some super dogs. His walks took him to Hempstead, Dargets Woods and Bluebell Hill Viewing point where you can see for miles. Here our some photos of our oldest and most recent client enjoying their walks in the sun.
